FEATURESOutline View
Creating your outline is easy. Simply write the title and content of your step and use the console to add a new step.
Each time a new step is added, it appears in your Outline List on the right hand side of the screen. You can use the console to navigate steps, delete steps or rearrange your outline.
You can choose the font, size, style and alignment you wish from the toolbar or from the handy right-click Contextual Menu which also has editing and advanced search options.

Now you can write your entire screenplay with ease by letting Movie Outline 3 automatically format it for you as you type!
Unlike regular word processors, Movie Outline 3 lays out your text to industry standard screenplay format by changing elements (scene heading, action, dialogue etc) as you type or via handy 'Tab and Enter' keyboard shortcuts.
Movie Outline 3 also guesses the next character when typing dialogue and suggests scene headings via Auto-Complete.

When writing a screenplay or story you are bound to come up with ideas along the way and Movie Outline 3 can help.
You can write notes or copy and paste portions of text from your outline for each step and store them for future reference. You can also print and export your notes.
To view which steps have notes or script text simply toggle the outline content view via the options menu or toolbar.

PowerView enables the Screenwriter to view and customize the structure of their story in a color-coded visual manner alongside their selected Reference Outline.
You can save structure templates and choose colors to indicate the various sections of your story, enabling you to gauge your structure against your reference structure.
You can also expand and collapse the content of each step allowing you to view your outline in full or just by step titles.

Organizing your outline is as simple as 1-2-3 with Movie Outline's powerful new Drag 'n Drop index card feature!
Each step is represented by a card which can be color-coded to match PowerView's current structure template and repositioned in your outline by dragging it with your mouse.
You can also resize the cards, expand and collapse their content, change the font and text size, undo/redo any changes you make and navigate your outline with ease.

A FeelFactor is an element of your story that evokes an emotional or intellectual response in your reader or audience.
Examples are: gore, shock, tension, conflict, action, mystery, comedy etc which can be analyzed through your outline via a visual graph. You can set the level of each FeelFactor for each step and gauge the pacing & development of your story.
You can also isolate factor graphs and simultaneously compare your FeelFactor progression with that of Reference Outlines.

Creating three-dimensional characters and developing their story is simple with Movie Outline's Character Profile Wizard.
The Wizard allows you to enter detailed information about each character; including their biography, intended story arc and notes. You can also answer a series of probing interview style questions to further build your character's personality.
